Publishing Another Book

   Ready for some awesome news?

I'm in the process of publishing another book!
It sort of just happened, but I'm glad I jumped into this. I'm constantly looking for book covers, even if I'm not interested in publishing a book yet, so that was what I was doing this weekend when I came across a cover that I absolutely fell in love with and had to have, right then and there.

After I wrote The Darkest Light, I started another book that I set in Paris about a girl that loses everything and is alone. I don't want to go into further detail yet. I'm not even releasing the title yet because I don't think I'll publish this book until later this year (maybe November?), or in the beginning of next year.

The book's premise came to me when I was 14, while I was in the middle of writing my second book ever. I started writing two books at once, and quickly realized that I wasn't good at juggling the stories. I stopped writing the Paris Book to finish the other one instead. I thought the book was going nowhere. I was 17 when I picked up the book again. I deleted most of the chapters I had, only keeping the gist of the first few chapters but completely changing up the writing.

I had the story pictured perfectly in my mind at that point and I just wrote it down as it came to me. I don't remember how long it took me to write, but I edited it three times after I finished it and that took me a year. I actually finished editing it last summer and haven't touched it since.

So, right now, I have my beta reader taking a look at it and giving me advice about it and once she's finished with it, I'm going to edit it one last time and try to fix whatever I can to make it perfect.

The artist that created the Paris Book's cover is http://melodyypond.weebly.com/ Her covers are really gorgeous and once you purchase a cover, it is exclusively yours!
